Samaroli
Founded in Rome in 1968 by Silvano Samaroli, Samaroli became the first non-UK independent bottler of Scotch whisky, pioneering a new era in spirits appreciation. Initially an importer, Samaroli began releasing his own bottlings in 1979, notably the Cadenhead series, followed by the acclaimed “Flowers” series in 1981. He was among the first to champion cask strength whiskies and un-chill-filtered styles, emphasizing the importance of bottle aging. Samaroli’s meticulous cask selection and artistic labeling have made his releases highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs worldwide. Today, under the stewardship of Antonio Bleve since 2008, Samaroli continues to uphold its legacy, offering limited-edition whiskies and rums that reflect exceptional quality and craftsmanship .
