Stuart Fear, born to an English father and Scottish mother, developed a strong connection to his Scottish heritage through frequent childhood visits to Dumfries. His academic and cultural pursuits led him to Taiwan, where he earned a degree in Chinese Literature and discovered a passion for Scotch whisky. Stuart pursued formal training, becoming an accredited Whisky Ambassador and completing Chivas Brothers’ “Masters of Scotch.” His whisky career began with Pernod Ricard Taiwan, and he now serves as Regional Brand Ambassador for Scotch at Brown-Forman. In 2024, in recognition of his contributions to the industry, Stuart was proudly inducted as a Keeper of the Quaich.
Bilingual and culturally attuned, his role see him travelling throughout Asia—hosting masterclasses, conducting VIP dinners, attending whisky events, engaging with media, and, most importantly, sharing exceptional drams with whisky enthusiasts across the region.
